On the 1st of January, 1901, the commonwealth of Australia was formed, which later on, the first election was held on 30th of March. The Australian government wanted it to be a white man’s working utopia, where the plan was to safeguard democracy, equality and freedom. However, to make this plan happen, in involves racial exclusion of the current non-white population, and to stop non-white people from coming in.
