At this juncture the grandsire Bheeshma (who led the army of the Kauravaas), the eldest and the most powerful of the entire Kuru clan (Kauravas and the Paandavas) blew his conch (Called Dyuoden) that roared like a lion and this cheered Duryodhana (who was feeling terribly nervous and diffident).
