This book describes a story that Harald’s immediate challenge was shifting from leading a single function to overseeing the full set of business functions by Michael D. Watkins, Harald gained experience by rotating through various functions or working on cross-functional projects, the reality is the company top leaders always requires the members who is specialists to quickly turn into generalists,through try to pratcice many cross-functional little projects,got so many experences,then it`s possible to become senior leaderr who know enough about all the functions to run their businesses. Through this course leanning,I understand why we can not tendency to stay in comfort work environment long time,if we hope to become excellent leader,we need many successful experiences in cross-functional projects,a excellent leader must know how to evaluate the talent on their teams.because,every bussiness function exist some differences and exist own mental models and language difference toreget.a excellent leader must know make good decisions too,so cross-functional experiences is need of course.In addition,a company need strong systems in place for evaluating and developing talent in key functions. Included well-crafted systems for performance reviews and 360-degree feedback.as a leader,more important is that lead group members to challenge organization traget. I hope become to a excellent leader,I will try success in mine existing team first,study more biz.releated and try to review performance & 360-degree F/B step by step.I understand cross-functional zone experiences is important,so I will pay attention more other knowledges leanning in the spare times, better raady to become a great leader in the future.

    Nurses use theories in every day practice to help answer questions and to build a strong foundation from. In this paper, two theories will be compared and contrasted. The first article applied Virginia Henderson’s grand theory of Principles and Practice of Nursing, also known as the activities of living theory (Nicely & DeLario, 2011). She believed, “the best health care is patient-focused; better still, family-focused” (Nicely & DeLario, 2011, p. 72). In this article, Henderson’s theory was applied specifically to the population of organ donation. Nicely and DeLario (2011) defined an organ donor as “an individual who is brain dead and is a candidate for solid-organ donation for transplantation” (p. 72). As one can imagine, this situation places a significant amount of stress on not only the patient but also the patient’s family and support system.
