Miss Baisch and Mrs.Katzianier assisted me to become even more advanced. Mrs.K taught me how to cross strings to link sounds together. Mrs.K was a happy-go-lucky and caring conductor. Mrs.K reassured me to keep practicing the songs to make the hand movements second-nature. Mrs.K encouraged me with more difficult songs while I was recommended for String Fest. Towards the end of 6th grade Mrs.K finished teaching the orchestra the lower strings. Lastly, Mrs.K started to teach advanced techniques like harmonics. During 7th grade, Miss Baisch’s introduction to the orchestra baffled everyone. Mrs. Baisch began teaching advanced techniques like vibrato which changed the pitch slightly. I learned how to correctly use dynamics while playing. Miss Baisch is energetic and cheerful and acts like she is still in college. Miss Baisch reminded me to keep doing what you love to become great at it. Miss Baisch began to teach me how to tune my own instrument to limit the wait for rehearsal to start.
