From a creative point of view, different art branches, such as architecture, painting, cinema and literature could now flourish. There was an emancipation on that level that was never experienced before. Undoubtedly the Republic had its disadvantages such as the extremely radical constitution, as well as the fact that being Germany new to the system, people weren't use to it, hence this didn't help its popularity at all. On the other hand, with Stresemann helping reconcile the relationship between France and Germany by ending the passive resistance in the Ruhr.
