People these days like to put different types of accessories on their trucks. There are so many different things that you can do to a truck, for example; there are suspension lifts, mud tires, rims or wheels, brush guards, pipes, and a lot of different lights. My personal favorite would be the LED light bar it is my latest attachment to my truck. To install the light bar the first step you need to take is to attach the light bar to the truck it comes with mounts that will go wherever you want to place it on your truck, secondly you are going to run a wire from the light bar to the battery, then you will run an extension off of that same wire to a fuse box that is in the driver side dashboard and attach the wire to the correct fuse in the box, finally you will run a wire from the fuse to the switch that …show more content…
After that you take the wire and run a long strand from the light bar all the way around your motor casing to the battery which is usually about 6 to 7 foot. When you get to the battery you strip off the top plastic layer of the wire and twist it around your battery cable, then stop and get about four more feet from the box. After you have hooked the wire to the battery you need to connect the other wire to the same wire you had before and connect them at the battery. Go to the dash of you truck and open up the driver side dash panel that has your fuse box in it, take out the fuse cover that says 30amp and put the fuse that is needed into the slot. Now that you have done that take the loose wire that is hooked to the battery and run it from the battery to the back side of your fuse box. The last step is you are going to run one more fuse from that same fuse to your switch that is mounted on your dash board.
Now since you have followed these steps you are ready to turn nigh time into daytime with your new correctly assembled and mounted led light
