How To Be Successful In College

There are four assets that I feel would help me be successful in college. They are my purpose in college, self-advocating, self-determination, and attendant. My purpose in college is to get a degree that will help me on the way to a professional success. Just going to college is easy said than done. Along the way there might be obstacles such as failing a test, hard time understanding the professor, and changing major. This is when self-advocating comes in place. Even though I might fail a test, there are always people that could help me study and tutor me, so that next time I could pass the next test. Changing mind on a major isn't something bad because I am still exploring and experiencing what I like and not like. At the same, I have to
be self-determine that I will get it next time. I'm always determine to be successful, even though I fail sometimes, I didn't give up because I know I could do better the next time. Being in school everyday, is exhausted but through friends and teachers, I was told that I have to listen carefully in class and ask question if I don't understand. As a child growing up, I was quiet and nervous. Whenever a teacher asked the studen if they have any question about the lecture, I always keep quiet. Even though I had so many question to asked, the nervousness in my heart always took control. The reason to my nervous was that when I asked a question the other student would think I was dump. It wasn't until freshmen year, in high school, that I start to speak up more. I have so many teachers that I always talk to if I have a problems. This brough courage to myself that I don't have to be scare and asked question because none of questions will hurt anyone.
