I find it really interesting how they were able to build pyramids of that size and style, especially so early on in human history. It is also interesting how they were able to make the pyramids in such a short amount of time. While it took about twenty years for the Great Pyramid of Giza to be built, it often took only ten years for the majority pyramids to be built. I also find the artwork and hieroglyphics extremely interesting. I find hieroglyphics are interesting because it was so important during that time. They put in so much detail in each of their symbols and that to me is cool. I think that the pyramids are huge pieces of art and I find them really fascinating. I would love to help build them and contribute to the making of the pyramids. As I've said before I've always loved the Ancient Egyptian Culture and helping build the pyramids would be a dream come true. Something else that I would really enjoy contributing would be the artwork and the hieroglyphics. I am relatively good at doing drawings and I am sure that doing this would be an adventure. My favorite type of Egyptian art has to be the wall paintings. They are really compelling and are extremely detailed. I think that I would like to contribute this to the culture most of all. I'm not that good at hard work, but I am relatively good at artwork. It would be fun to contribute it to the Egyptian

The Egyptian pyramids are landmarks because they exhibit the astounding architectural feats and showcase the culture of the time. I loved art. When I was a young child I would always design new temples, and pyramids in the sand. I loved to paint, I would make my own paint and draw on anything I possibly could. I was passionate about it all. Father and mother always supported my art, but they expected me to follow father’s footsteps and become a scriber. I didn’t want to be a scriber. I wanted to be a painter. I wanted to design the newest, most beautiful pyramid in Egypt. It was a big dream, but I was determined to make it happen. I would be the greatest painter Egypt has ever seen.…

Even now, people still think that aliens made the Pyramids. The Egyptians were far ahead of their time. They were able to drag hundreds, if not thousands, of several ton limestone blocks all on the backs of men. They figured out how to roll logs underneath the limestone blocks so they would move better. They learned that if a rectangular wooden structure had too much weight on top, the walls would cave. So, they used limestone, and they made the base of the structure thicker than the top. They knew how to make things work through trial and error. They didn't need any aliens to help them! The Egyptians were and still are, an intelligent people. They did not give up when they had their minds set on a colossal monument to celebrate their leaders. The Egyptians wanted everyone to know the power they held. Even now, 4,575 years later, we still see the feats of the…

Pyramids were built for tombs for the Pharaoh and the queen. They were filled with riches and more importantly the sarcophagus with the mummy. They put riches and furniture for the afterlife. They put all the organs in jars except the heart and the brain. The heart was left in the body and the brain was took out of the nostrils and thrown away. There were a lot of twists and turns to get to the Pharaoh’s tomb. There were usually traps so that outsiders could not steal the riches. Most Pyramids had the tomb of the kind but they could have been for the queen. Pyramids could be…

Another factor that makes Egyptian art special is their color pallet. The Egyptians used many warm colors such as various shades of brown, red, yellow, and orange. The frescos done by the Egyptians were done with egg and vinegar. One thing I found that was very interesting is that the Egyptians painted males with a dark reddish skin tone, and they painted the women a lighter yellow color. This shows that men were very active outdoors and they women were mainly indoors. This shows how important detail was to Egyptians and that their paintings were very accurate to how they were living.…
