During my sophomore year, I made the decision to transfer. Upon arriving at Tulane University, I found myself immersed in an entirely new culture and way of thinking. I changed my major upon arrival. Tulane no longer offered a religion degree, so I had to start over entirely. The difficulty of integrating myself into a new culture while assimilating into the science-heavy world of neuroscience became the greatest struggle of my undergraduate career.
