“To Kill a Mockingbird”.
INTRODUCTION
There are many different types of prejudices even in our modern day. It is hard to stop them but even harder to see them. In Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird” we follow a little girl, Scout, as she faces the truth about the world and its injustice. Later on after Tom Robinson is shot, his death is compared to “the senseless slaughter of songbirds” (p.241) or the death of a mockingbird.
