From both Democrat and Republican candidates sharing jaw-dropping comments between each other to a shocking video being released about Trump himself. On live television, Trump has said awful things, things that nobody would want their children to hear. In an article on Indy 100, it shows a quote from Trump, “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it, you can do anything. Grab them by the p***y, you can do anything”(Jose 1). His snarky and childish comments have been inappropriate …show more content…

What she wanted was to bring in millions of hardworking people to strengthen our

Make America Great Again, Hillary for America, and A Future to Believe In, but what do these campaign slogans mean? Are they supposed to have a fixed meaning at all? Over the years as the political process has evolved politics have also become a key platform for narrative creation. Consequently, that creation of narratives may also be problematic because these campaign slogans and or sound bites, which will be discussed further into this series. The truthis that a text does not have a fixed meaning, as much as rhetorical critics would attempt to argue ideology is no longer a set of ideas and beliefs of a group or political party as the Merriam Webster dictionary suggest. Additionally, that definition has changed quite dramatically to mean the interpretation of ideals and beliefs of a group or political party key word there being ‘Interpretation.’And campaign managers know that and use that to their advantage. “Make America Great Again,” it purposely is open ended so that ideological narrative creation can take place. What does it mean? That’s just it, it could mean any amount of things to Trumps supporters, and however, the problem is that the rhetorical significance of these monikers is much less important than the idea of a great America. Politicians use these types of persuasive tactics by using an authority figures ethos or popularity and ability to speak.…

Trump took the Presidential race by a storm instantly gaining supporters from across the nation. However, his strategy was like no other presidential candidate in history. Fearless and bold, President Trump fueled the racism and sexism of America becoming the talk of every community. Yet, some despised him hypocrisy, much more rejoiced his authenticity. He was not a politician nor did he spend decades working in Washington, but he a blatantly honest billionaire who had conquered the business world. Unfortunate for Trump, since his term began in January, he has finally realized that he needs actual political knowledge to govern the nation, a thought that had never crossed his mind. Due to his lack of common sense and education, Trump has unraveled…

Some of the candidates think that there is an issue with immigration today which can only be solved by putting an immediate stop to illegal immigration and drastically reducing the number of legal immigrants allowed in the country. However I believe this would only create more problems for the United States. Many people claim that immigrants are stealing the jobs of hardworking Americans, but I disagree. If we forcibly removed all of the illegal immigrants from our country, not only would that cause a sizable international dilemma, but we would lose a large portion of the blue collar labor force. The fact of the matter is that immigrants do jobs that Americans feel they are too good for. By removing immigrants, we would only create a gap in the labor force because Americans buy-in-large feel entitled to well paid white collar jobs. In my opinion, Trump can talk about removing the Muslims and building his wall, but that would only create more problems for the United States as a whole. Immigrants play a large role in the labor force of this country and have since the Gilded…

What it means to be an American, most people would tell you it means freedom to pursue and do what you want. In my opinion freedom and the “dream” don't come easy it takes more than hard work and dedication to earn a dime in this country. To be an American it means, responsibility to serve and do everything in your power to be a part of your society. To be an American it means you will obtain rights, for example, the 2nd amendment states you have the right to bare arms. To be an American it means you have freedom, to own whatever you desire if you work hard enough for it.…

In my opinion America is the greatest country on earth. One of the best things about America is our freedom. Our freedom is something to truly be proud of! In many other countries you have to filter what you say, but not in great ole America you are legally able to say whatever you want. In some Asian countries young children and lower class adults have to work in factories for very low pay, just because there is no other options. In America this is not the case, here we could work where ever we desire, with the right education of course. Religion, religion is a big one. In many counties what, or whom you worship is controlled by the government.…
