How to We Save the Earth
How to we save the earth

Our planet is in great danger. The people of earth have wasted and misused the natural recourses of earth. Several plans have been developed to stop the abuse of earth.Environmental problems have become so complex that many individuals feel they can have no effect on them. Problems like oil spills, hazardous waste, loss of rain forests, endangered species, acid rain, the ozone layer, the municipal waste crisis can feel out of our control. At the very least, these problems require group and corporate action or government intervention. However, there are some things the individual can control. Our waste reduction and recycling activities can make a difference. That's why so many communities began voluntary recycling programs.

Solar panels are a series of mirrors that transform sunlight into solar energy. Solar energy can help heat water and power home appliances. Solar energy is a great source of clean, non-polluting energy.

The idea of a landfill is a great one, but it won’t work if people continue to believe it is a place for all trash. A landfill is a big divot dug out of the earth for garbage disposal.

We can help, The problem with these plans is that not every one contributes to the efforts to reduce pollution and waste, in fact most of the people I know believe recycling is a waste of time and they by them selves cannot make the difference. The Earth is our home and we need to protect

In 2013 we produced 254 million tons of waste. Of this 254 million tons: we recycled 34%, which isn't a bad number. But of the rest of our waste that ends up in landfills: half could be recycled. That’s 84 million tons of waste that could be reused. So why are we just letting it get buried with the rest of our garbage? Recycling may be expensive and inconvenient in the beginning. But research shows the long term benefits of mandatory recycling programs. These benefits outweigh the initial inconvenience and expense.…

Recycling has been a well known idea for so many years, but now we need it more than ever. Now in the world there are so many problems with the environment like Global Warming, toxic waste, and not to mention not recycling is very costly but recycling reduces the landfill space, helps conserves natural resources, and reduces the production of greenhouse gases . When you recycle you also help save animals so the rims of a six pack of soda doesn’t end up blocking a fish's gills or a plastic bag getting eaten by a turtle and having it choke on the bag. Recycling can also be a group effort where you get a group of people from your community, school, church, job, or just you and your friends so not only your saving the environment but your having fun with people you know while doing it.…

In todays world it is common knowledge of the issues with recycling and pollution. However, there is a way to help slow down the process of over-running our earth. A new initiative is being spoken about, three trash cans for each method of recycling:compost, paper and plastic, and landfill. Other ways include recycling centers, projects for turning your no longer useable items into recycled treasures. I firmly believe in adopting and putting these into practice in our United States with only minor changes. We only have one earth so we have to take care of it.…

It seems that every time one turns on the television they hear about something dealing with the environment, from global warming to pollution. It is a constant a reminder that what people do has a consequence to our planet. While some people do recycle, not enough is being done. We need to have more people recycle to have a better effect to the planet. This is why government needs to have mandatory recycling to not only better the earth, but to lessen our need for natural resources, reduce the amount of actual “trash” we put in landfill, and to help our economy by the creation of new jobs through the recycling project.…

Nature is God’s gift to humanity and it brings peace to all of us. Therefore, it is our responsibility to preserve the Earth by disposing trash the proper way. Pandora Thomas told the students during the assembly about the dangers of disposing chemicals in our environment. When humans dispose waste improperly, nature will have a negative outcome. Everything in the ecosystem will become affected by the decisions of human beings. Unfortunately, many people do not recognize the affect we all have on the environment and therefore they refuse to improve their recycling habits. As a result of lack of concern for the environment, the Earth is damaged.…
