How To Write A Jeffrey Sewell Case Study
Mr. Jeffrey M. Sewell contacted Client Relations about his tuition for post-secondary training. Mr. Sewell stated that he was informed that the Agency would only be able to assist him with the cost of his post-secondary training for only two additional semesters. I reviewed Mr. Sewell’s case and I am perplexed about his concern. I am confident that the Berkeley-Dorchester Area Office has addressed this with Mr. Sewell, yet the client has a different point-of-view.

To assist Ron’s comprehension and dedication to the established classroom procedures and norms by starting with his morning routine, as his assistant, it would be prudent to allow Ron to take a huge role in creating the procedure this will significantly influence the way he owns it. Upon creation of the norms and procedures, I will ensure that he has an in-depth understanding of the reason for this new set up. Knowing that Ron is easily distracted especially during the transition times, I will give him an opportunity to practice this new procedure through a series of rehearsals. Such practice sessions allow me to see the sets of procedures and norms that work for him and those that will need modification. One other critical aspect…

Anthony Edward Sowell was supposed to be a low risk inmate after his release from prison in June of 2005. He had served 15 years in prison for rape. Anthony Sowell moved in with family directly following his release. He moved into a Cleveland home on Imperial Avenue. Soon, residents started to complain about a pungent odor coming from Anthony’s home. Sowell blamed the source of the odor on a nearby sausage factory, and a new sewage pipe that had just been put in. Police then began to get reports of missing women, all from around the same area. Police received reports of a naked woman falling from the house, assault, and attempted rape. Finally, on Halloween 2009, Anthony was arrested after a third complaint of assault was filed. Police officials went to Sowell’s house and unearthed the bodies of 11 women. Anthony Sowell’s first appearance in trial was on May 2nd. 2011. Sowell’s case is still under review to date. Many people believe police overlooked many of the complaints and red flags. Spectators believe that early signs could have prevented the release of such a lethal sexual predator.…

During my online research for an accredited program, I discovered Liberty University’s Masters of Arts Professional Counseling Program. The online program captured my attention based on several factors. The online Master of Arts of Professional Counseling program in combination with a few other programs in the helping profession field is currently ranked 5th in the nation. The ranking combined with the program in the final stages of becoming CAAREP accredited are factors that have affected my decision to enroll in the Spring semester. These contributing factors as well as the tuition rate of the private University and the proximity the school is to my home have all pushed me to peruse my graduate degree from Liberty University.…

In this chapter I learned about how sometimes the helper’s values and his/her’s clients values might clash. This stood out to me because when you work with a variety of clients, this is bound to happen, so learning about what to do when I do come across this situation is very helpful so I don’t end up disrespecting a client accidentally. Reading this chapter taught me that even though at times I may not agree with my client’s values, it is still essential to respect the right of my client and to embrace a different worldview. In this chapter I also learned that a helper’s job isn’t to judge the client's values but to teach and help them explore their beliefs and help them to solving their problems. In addition to that, another thing that stood out to me in this course was how many career options there were in Human Services, from Generalist Human Services Work to Creative Arts Therapy, to Clinical Psychology, there are options for everyone. As I got more into this chapter it helped me get an idea of what I want to do after college and the training and education I would have to go through. And the last thing that stood out to me in this course was learning that a lot of the helpers go through therapy too to help them understand how the past conflicts might still be affecting…

The case study that will be analyzed in this report presents the case of an American woman who has been living and working in Bangkok, Thailand for three years. It comes without saying, that her life in Bangkok has not been easy. She does not speak Thai language and many of Thais do not speak English, this poses a communicational barrier. She does not own a car and does not have access to the corporate car, this poses a navigation barrier. Moreover, she had to face some differences in the approach to work in within Thai people. It came as a surprise for her that while Americans are usually ready to fulfill the tasks on the short notice, Thais are more laid back and are not willing to rush with completing one or other task. Being unaware of this Racela had troubles at work and was under constant stress. Furthermore, to Racela’s surprise she has discovered that women are usually paid less than man at the work place, and, in general, her firm lacked structure. At the same time, they are many splendid things in Thailand. Racela enjoys travelling, getting to know foreign culture and getting used to accept the cultural differences. Racela’s income is also stable, being rather low for the Western World, though reliable in Asia. Finally, living in Thailand has shaped Racela’s personality and helped her become a better, more intelligent, mature and sophisticated person. The three years spent in Thailand has surely been valuable, though being offered a new job in Hawaii, Racela is not sure whether she should continue her stay in Thailand or return to America.…

This morning, the paramedics brought in a nine-year-old girl, who was accompanied by her mother, seven-year-old sister, and grandmother, into the emergency department because she experienced a seizure; she does not have a history of seizures. Moreover, the physicians believed the underlying cause of her recent seizure was related to her bumping her head yesterday during school; she was running around during playtime, slipped on a ball, and then hit her head on a counter, which caused her to become unconscious. The mother and grandmother informed the nurses and physicians that the girl experienced a seizure, following that incidence yesterday, that affected her entire body, which created tension within her muscles. Subsequently, while getting…
