How To Write A Narrative Report On Gang Violence
PER REPORTER: Marcus is violent towards the children. He whips them with his hand, a belt, or whatever he can use. They're not his children and the mother allows it. Mom whips them too. Reporter is not sure if the children have any marks or bruises. Both mom and Marcus are affiliated with gangs. Mom is affiliated with a vice lord gang. It's on her Facebook page. Mom acts like she is sweet but it's just a cover up like she's not affiliated with a gang. Reporter stated it affects the children because they have run ins with people while the children are around. They are violent towards each other. Mom will call the police. The children have tried to intervene. They are scared and crying. The children are sometimes present or outside during the fights. Reporter is not sure if the children have been harmed or hurt due to them fighting. When mom is upset with her spouse, she takes it out on the children. Mom leaves the children home alone at times. She will tell them not to open thedoor but they always do. She leaves them for a couple of hours. They were not harmed or hurt. The children will play or fight each other while mom is gone. Mom will leave them with Marcus; he will get high. He leaves the children alone. They will go outside and play by themselves or with friends. Mom is at work or gone with her friends but Marcus is suppose to watch them. Marcus stays at home while mom works. Mom gives him money.
