How To Write A Personal Reflective Essay

In the past years, I’ve done a lot of writing. In high school, I had written multiple essays and here at Peirce I have written multiple essays as well. All throughout high school when I was writing essays I always had grammar mistakes and run on sentences. Also, I knew how to construct an essay, but I did not know how cite in APA or MLA format. In the beginning because I did not know how to cite in APA or MLA format and because I had run on sentences and grammar mistakes I negativity looked at this. Now since I have been writing more I look at it positively because if I did not make those mistakes and learned from them I would still be making mistakes. Lastly, I never took advantage of the resources around me before. Therefore, my goals for
this course is to learn how to cite in APA and be able to do APA in-text citation because it is important to know how to write in different formats you might have to use it at work or in school. Also, after writing an paper I will use the resources around me, such as the walker center because it is always good to have another set of eyes look at your paper. Another goal that I have for this course is to get an A or a B nothing lower than a B because I know I can do it. My last goal for this course is to complete all the assignments before the due date because I like to procrastinate and when I procrastinate I wait to do things at the last minute. In conclusion, I made these goals for myself for this course because they are all important. After this course I hope I will be able to cite a paper in APA format and able to use in-text citation. If I complete the assignments in this class like I have to I will be able to accomplish all the goals I have for myself in this course.
