Gustav Stressman, play a key role in helping Germany get back on their feet. He used his negotiation skills to make a deal to lower reparation payments to a more realistic level and to secure loans from the united states of American to stabilize the hyperinflation currency of the Weimar republic also the young plant lower the amount of reparation he had to pay back. With that said he was able to use the support of the Social Democratic Party and was able to bring an end to the passive resistance in the Ruhr and also able to resume payments of the reparation to French and Belgium troops. He played another key role
in Weimar government because as hyperinflation increased Germany’s population was decreasing to stop people from hunger and having no money because at the time hyperinflation lent to the German money being worth nothing because the Weimar government kept printing notes to pay for the people who were on passive resistance, he ended up making a new currency called the Rentenmark which meant the old currency was scrapped and Germany was being lead out of the inflation. The reason why amongst other Germans stressman was really important is that he led the Germans into a time period called the Golden Ages where Germans could easily go to the theatre and have fun.
On the other hand you could say that other factors were more important than Gustav stressman himself, such as the factor of USA accepting to allow Germany to take loans was a big step forward. As at that time it was needed because Gustav Stressman knew that if he didn’t get these loans from USA he wouldn’t be able to make Germany stand on its own feet without funding. But what Gustav Stressman didn’t know was that the young plan could end up making Germany go through another depression
In conclusion, I think that Gustav stressman was the biggest factor amongst other factors as if it wasn’t for the skills that he has, there wouldn’t be a Germany because they would have steeped so low, without food money, that easily the French could have taken over and claimed Germany as their own.
