Purpose of promotion is to raise awareness of the firm’s products and encourage consumers’ to make a purchase. The aims are summarized:
Inform people about particular issues, often used by government. * To introduce new products on to the market. * To compete with competitors’ product. * To create a brand image. * To increase sales. * To improve the company image.
