Group Proposal ‘Huawei’
Background of the company
Huawei is a leading telecom solutions provider. Through continuous customer-oriented innovation, Huawei has established end-to-end advantages in telecom network infrastructure, application & software, devices and professional services. The vision of Huawei is to enrich people's lives through communication and the mission of the company is to focus on customers’ market challenges and needs by providing excellent communications network solutions and services in order to consistently create maximum value for customers.
Huawei was founded in the year 1988 in Shenzhen, China. It became profitable and famous in the domestic market during the first ten years. Its products and services have been deployed in more than 140 countries and it currently serves 45 of the world's 50 largest telecoms operators. Huawei has deployed over 3000 sites powered by alternative energies around the world.
The reason that we choose to study Huawei Company and identify issue and problem situation of it is because Huawei is Chinese a leading global information and communications technology solution provider. Moreover our group members consist of two nationalities, which are Indonesian and Thai, so we think that it will be interesting to work on this company because Huawei also expanded their branches to Indonesia and Thailand. Therefore in our opinion, we think that this is a great opportunity to compare the issues and organizational problems that might occur in international organization in different cultures.
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the organizational behavior management process of the company and what management strategies that they use to improve the organization. However during the process of an international organization, there must be some organizational problems such as culture and communication. We will also discuss the reason why those problems occurred and moreover, how to solve them by using the theory
