The human brain is a miracoulus organ. It is the main sorce where we get our creativie and logical thinking from. Many scientists and people agree in the left and right brain theory that our right and left hemispheres of our brain have two separate sides that do different types of thinking.Left being logic or critical thinking and the right being more creative and intuitive. They also believe that i has an impact on learning.

The brain is the most remarkable and perhaps the most complex of all the organs in the human body. The Brain tells you when to sleep, when you are in pain, and anything else you need to do. Not only does the brain function 24/7 ,even while you are sleeping, it also teaches you and absorbs things that you learn day to day along with memories. Do you remember what you ate for dinner last night? Or your first kiss? Well my friend thats all thanks to your Big beautiful brain! The brain is divided into two hemispheres, the right and the left. and believe it or not one is always more dominant than the other.

In the right side of the brain Imagination rules! The right brain is creative Impetuous and memory focused. This side of the brain is what would default if you were painting or spending time with your family. This creates and stores your most precious memories and feelings. This side also is why when you look at an object and it is familiar and you know its functions. Our Mr right is also fantasy based. I believe that for most of your childhood the right side of the brain is dominant because children are always making stories and playing pretend. This must be why children cannot vote or drink until a certain “adult” age. Most Adults who are have right brain dominance have a learning style that is more hands on and visual than most learning styles. This means that when you are in a classroom setting you will learn and pick up faster

One brain two sides; the left brain analysis breaking information into parts about 95% of people use the left brain to speak, write, and understand. This includes time sense and rhythm. The right side of the brain processes information by using nonverbal responses such as, pointing at objects, simple language comprehension and recognition of pattern. Lobes of the cerebral cortex are larger fissures on the surface of the cortex. The cerebral cortex is responsible for reasoning planning, mental abiliites, sense of self and motor control. This area contains mirror neurons, which becomes active when you observe someone else and then you carried out the same action.…

If a family member who read the book ‘Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain’ (Edwards, 1980) and was convinced this phenomenon was true I’d simply explain to them that both sides of the brain are conscious while performing any tasks. For example when giving a speech in front of a large audience, your left hemisphere would concentrate on your word choice. While your right hemisphere would concentrate on the intonation and volume for your voice. It is impossible to perform a single task only using one hemisphere of the brain at a time, unless you are split…

The left brain is called the logical, or rational, side of the brain. Left brainers do things in the "proper" order and feel that there is a proper order. They to do well in subjects like reading, writing, speech and math. These subjects have an ordered sequence and left brainers process better in a linear, step by step style. Left brain dominant people will likely succeed in professions such as law, science and accounting (Williams.) Other characteristics of the left brain and left brained learners are that they usually spell very well since spelling involves the sequencing of letters; they can be very good at math because they can memorize formulas and they perform well at solving problems in a linear fashion; and usually they can give directions well because they have the visual acuity to see what they want to say and have it verbalize fluidly. More often than not, schools and institutions favor the left brain thinkers over the right brain thinkers. The subjects at school focus on logical thinking and analysis and accuracy. This does not mean that the right brain thinkers are not as smart though.…

"The southpaw's secret semantics" article written by Shannon Brownlee, emphasize that there are different learning capabilities between the left-handers people and right-handers. According to series of research done by Beaver and other researchers, they have determined that handedness is the result of which hemisphere of the brain has dominance. They have suspected for a long time that language is conceived differently for left and right handed people. There have been many arguments over whether language is the result of environment or genes. Beaver also found that righties from left-handed families rely mostly on associations and memories to understand language and righties from right-handed families. Results from one of Beaver's experiments made linguists' believe even more that the rules of grammar are stored in the left hemisphere of the brain, and associations and memories that words evoke may be shared by both hemispheres. Researchers have also found that damage to the left side of the brain often results in partial or complete loss of power to use and understand word. However, left-handed people seem to suffer less from this kind of damage, and they may be more crippled by an injury to the right side of the head. To conclude, in Beaver's view, the genes for right-handedness predispose the brain to concentrate linguistic rules in the left hemisphere, but linguistic associations more equally. I will used this study in my research to provide evidence for different learning capabilities between left-handers and right-handers people. And how the human brain function.…

Since as I said before, the right side of the brain corresponds to the left side of the body, right handed people would most likely think with the left side of the brain and vice versa. Some other factors that may have had an effect on our brain dominance would be genetics, childhood experiences, and family environment. Our brain dominance has a tremendously large impact on our personality. In my experiment there were people I was able to pre-determine their brain dominance. You can generally can distinguish the artistic creative kids and the analytical brainy kids apart. However, there were some results that surprised me and were very…

Human brain was thought of as a whole equally functional unit. Recent discoveries have showed that the human brain is divided into two distinctive hemispheres with distinctive functions. Most commonly in the human brain, the left hemisphere controls logical thinking, while the right hemisphere controls creativity. Although, patients suffering from neurological impairment may differ from this. The left hemisphere, is known to control language skills (Broca, 1861), solving logical problems and also possessing positive emotions. While the right hemisphere controls our shape distinction skills, face-recognition, music and negative emotions. This two hemispheres work together, with neurons connecting both sides in the corpus callosum. It is the ratio of dominance between the two hemispheres that forms a particular individual with personality as distinctive as our fingerprints.…

Scientist has explored theories about the two hemispheres of the brain and the ways that they differ in function from each other, the two hemispheres are connected by a corpus callosum, or bundle of nerve fibers that facilitates communication between the two hemispheres. It is known that popular psychology sometimes makes broad generalizations about certain functions of the brain being lateral which t is located in either the right or left side of the brain. The lateralization theory - was developed by Roger Sperry, and Robert Ornstein- they play a major role to helps us understand human behavior, personality, creativity, and ability to use proper mode of thinking when performing a particular task.…

As we all know the brain id divide by the left and right hemispheres; the left hemisphere the controls the right side of the brain as well as language and logically it also retrieves memory, the right hemisphere controls the left side of the brain as well as recognition of objects and people and process music and voices allowing you to associate a voice with a face, person, and or name. During Jill Botler Taylor’s reference about her own experience of the functions and dysfunctions of the brains hemispheres, Botler explained that the left hemisphere of the brain is about the past and the present, organization and association, language and speech development, visual and perception; however, the right hemisphere is about the present, movement…

There are two halves to the human brain, called hemispheres. The left side of the brain controls the right side of your body, and the right side controls the left side of your body. The left side of the brain also has the control of the ability to speak and communicate using language. The right side has more artistic abilities, such as spatial relationships. Some people believe that the halves may be two completely different mental systems. The two halves of the brain are connected by the corpus callosum; a structure of about two hundred million nerve fibers called. If the corpus callosum is cut then the two halves of the brain have no way of communication, and must operate independently.…
