March 22, 2013 Economic Problems in Society “The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.” John F. Kennedy shows how important Human Rights is everywhere. If one law is broken against Human Rights, pandemonium is expected from other citizens. The Human Rights system has been around for over 200 years in American history and is continuing to bring peace and stopping deter aggression, but many countries in the world seem to forget about Human Rights or forget about the meaning to live as a human being. China and North Korea both hold strict rules and regulations on how families in that country should live. In Iran, people can be executed just for being gay. There are many different fields in which Human Rights needs to be looked at and reformed properly through strategic methods that will help ratify peace. The way to restore Human Rights properly is by having the Private Sector and Voluntary Sector, since not government ran, provide the ones harmed by violations given care and having rehabilitation for the accused, otherwise chaos could break loose. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, always wants to ratify Human Rights to make it the safest it can ever be. She states Human Rights as a, “God given entitlement of every human.” Minorities are another way that Human Rights are violated. Religious Freedom is the ability to say and think what you want without the state prohibiting them from doing so. The government is learning more about these different religions, rather than denying them to not believe in their cultures. Religious leader and activists are blackmailed and sometimes murdered. We have harassed, bullied and even tortured people just for being different. For example, a doctor was brought back to safety from Eastern Congo. A man of great care when it comes to patients who have been assaulted or injured throughout the conflict in that area. He was targeted and watched his staff die
