Human Services Reflection Paper

Sylvia Albers taught me there is so many things you can be if work for it. She showed me that there is so many avenues you can go with in the Human Service field. I really enjoyed her visit.

I learned that you really need to take care of yourself or you could burn out as a helper. I have learned that I need to have a self-care plan and implement it. I have also learned this from my therapist. She has helped me tremendously with self-care. You really need it for your soul.

It is very important to continually educate yourself on the Code of Ethics. By doing this it will help you in serving your clients in a proper and fair way. The Code of Ethics to me, is the bible of Human Services.
