The play is very beautiful and I love the entire show the parts when everyone starts dancing and singing and playing their individual roles and how they dress for their part. The play was written by Walt Disney World and created by their studio and it was loaded on You Tube by jcmark42 on July 12, 2009. The artwork was beautiful and vitalizing and made the stage look very glamorous and unique. The location was in Pennsylvania, the genre was Broadway Production live, and the time period of the play was July 12, 2009. Yes the artwork was an example of the major characteristics. I expected that the play was going to be worth me watching and I would enjoy it. My expectation’s was how the play came out and performed just like I thought it would. My reaction to Beauty & the Beast musical was joyous, happiness, fulfilling and I will be watching it again. I loved the Broadway musical that I choose. The reason why I love the Broadway musical Beauty & the Beast is that I love how they sing and dance and how the forest look and the castle is very beautiful to me that’s why I love that play. When I first saw the play I payed no attention to the costumes but enjoy the overall play, which mean that costume designers did a good job. According to professor Landis, she says that costumes should not be the main focus but improve the overall environment of the play. Once I look back to picture of the play, I start noticing costumes. I find it beautiful how all the characters wore emerald, lively clothing to add to the wonder of Emerald City. I also notice that Elphaba has the famous wiked witch hat but the costume designer made modification that make it appear like the orignial hat, but it looks more suiting to a beautiful younge women. This production used a lot of change of set design as well as the use of expensive effects. For instant, during the scene were there is flying monkeys, the audience not only see a million monkeys appearing as if they are going to take flight but the huge dragon on top of the stage comes alive. During this scene the light technicitan uses red lights on the stage and the background is Elsabub castle. The use of red lights, loud sounds, and the…

Kublai Khan was a ruler during the thirteenth century. He was a Mongol dreamer, visionary, and had the desire to unite different nationalities, religions, and cultures together under the Yuan Empire. Kublai Khan was a great sympathizer for the Chinese people, even though he was Mongolian by birth. He didn’t necessarily always trust the Chinese people, but he was fascinated with their traditions, culture, and arts. Conservative Mongolians would get offended and would repeatedly cause Kublai Khan problems because conformed so well to the Chinese ways. Kublai’s grandfather was the infamous Genghis (Chinggus) and the fourth son of Toluia and Sorghagtani. From the day he was born on 1215, his mother, Sorghagtani, raised him because his father was away on military campaigns. Kublai’s mother had one ambition for all of her sons, and that was for someone to regain the throne that had been taken by her husband’s brother. Consequently, she groomed Kublai and his brothers for the throne. She was a fervent Nestorian Christian and saw that plundering a nations resources would soon backlash, and she knew it would not be helpful to anyone. She obviously had a great effect on Kublai. When Kublai Khan’s eldest brother, Mongke (Mangu) gained the throne, his mother’s life dream was fulfilled. She never lived to see Kublai become khan as she died a year after his brother ascended the throne. While demonstrating his military brilliance during several battles he caught his brother’s attention. His brother recruited and gave him a job in his empire. Same years later Mongke died during a battle between the Buddhists and the Taoist. At the time there was a bloody power struggle between Kublai and his younger brother Arigboge that lasted for two years. Arigboge was defeated in 1264 and Kublai became khan shortly thereafter. Kublai Khan did some amazing things during his reign including extending the Grand Canal all the way to his new capital in Ta-tu, what is now modern day Beijing.…

    Avenue Q Play Analysis

I like the set design of the play it looks realistic it seems like you are living in moment. For example, the wall was made of wood but the color contrast gave a realist impression. Also, the set design is important because it gives idea to audience where the setting of the play is located. Although the building in this play were relatively new, the original Broadway play set design was very worn out. In my opinion, if the play was old then the set design should look like the original Broadway play because on Avenue Q middle and lower class family leave. The apartment look like they leave on Avenue A. In additional, the costume is also important so the audience can figure out who they are. I think costume also show the personality of a character like upper, middle, and lower class and the costume designer of this play did great work. Especially, when two or three character wearing black cloths and the puppets were in red, blue, and green this shows the color…

Courage takes four character traits, Strength, Guts, and Glory, But you also have to believe in failure. The character that i believe showed the most courage in the novel Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry, By- Mildred D. Taylor is Cassie.Cassie's actions and thoughts should she was a regular girl who very courageous in many moments in the book. The three main moments in the book where cassie showed her courage are when she stood up to mr. barnett to a point of making his blood boil, she fought her rival ,Lillian Jean until Big Ma stopped her, and finally helped T.J when he was wounded even though he was a liar who may not have helped cassie if she needed it. Of the many live performances I have been able to see, by far my favorite is Wicked. I have always been drawn to plays that are fantasy-based versus those that focus on realism. Wicked is a complete fun-ride of fantasy from beginning to end. From it's variety of outrageous characters to it's musical score, each aspect of drama is clear and defined in this play. Theme, music, and spectacle will be the focus in this essay, but that is not to say each aspect does not have a role in the show. Wicked presents the aspects of drama in a way that an audience remembers.…

All of the costumes used throughout the ballet were extremely detailed, and appropriate for the scenes they were used in. The costume that was my favorite throughout the piece was The Nutcracker, they didn’t miss a detail from head to toe with this costume. The set of the ballet is amazing, it looks as though they took snap shots of their thoughts, and brought them to life in the ballet. They couldn’t have been made any better to fit the scenes they were part of. The color’s chosen throughout were all very specific to each scene, they added to the set and the theatrical entertainment. The lighting was focused on the main characters in each scene, the movement of the light helped lead the viewers eye throughout the ballet.…

This ship was made in Venice in 1569, but the owner was Eduarno Gagliano. It is believed that the ship sank because it was overlaoded, but it might have also been attacked by pirates.
