Hunting In The Most Dangerous Game By General Zaroff

In the short story The Most Dangerous Game there is a dark twist that has two of the main characters hunting, but what are they hunting for. Animals are no longer in the range of hunting when General Zaroff says he is more into hunting humans because he got bored with animals. Zaroff appears to be crazy and has no sympathy for the people he is hunting. The story would not be interesting because Zaroff would not longer be hunting humans the game would not start and no one would be hunting the other. Where that sounds good there would be no story to tell and it would just be a story of hunting animals. If the story had not had this twist of things to it the story would have been bland and general, where as now it is something dangerous and mysterious.
