In today's society hunger is a big issue and has increased in history. While people are starving we are too busy worrying about what we are doing this weekend and what should we wear to school tomorrow. This is a huge issue in our world and it needs to be pushed to be more important. I have done many community services and activities that have made an impact on hunger in my community. Out of all of the activities that I have done , Hurricane Matthew Relief was the most impacting towards my life and others. In Lumberton, North Carolina on September 28, 2016 Hurricane Matthew destroyed many homes and lives in this area. Lumberton was the most impacted area.     Hurricane Hugo, one of the strongest hurricanes in South Carolina’s history, originated from a wave that moved west off of Africa’s coastline on September 9, 1989. Throughout the night and into the morning of September 10, Hugo had been classified as a tropical depression. As Hugo moved across the warm waters of the Atlantic it gained more and more strength.     In August of 1983 Hurricane Alicia slammed into Texas coastline causing mass destruction. The hurricane formed near Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico before hitting Texas.
