“I keep wondering, how many people do you need to be, before you can be yourself.” -Not Named. I chose Be Yourself by Stephanie Pellegrin because the story sort of represents me - not that I join any clubs - I am that girl in the corner with her nose in a book lost in her own mind trying to find herself. This short story can help girls/boys like me to take a step forward instead of taking two steps back. This story shows that it takes a while for you to find yourself and that trying something new won’t kill you. This story also shows a little bit of the winding road to growing up. Trying to find yourself is like looking into the mirrors in the House of Fun at a carnival. They are all you but contorted versions of yourself.
