I Never Had It Made Analysis

Many people have turning points in their lives but some are greater than others, because they actually changed their country no just their lives. Jackie Robinson from “ I Never Had It Made,” Melba Beals from “Warriors Don’t Cry”, and Feng Ru from “ The Father of the Chinese Aviation” have all had a turning point like that. They all have one thing in common, they all changed their countries and lives for the better.
Jackie Robinson was the first African American man to play in Major League Baseball. He got little support because he was black. In fact people would actually put him down verbally and mentally, but that didn’t stop him! He did this so he could break the color barrier. He also wanted African Americans to have a fair chance in life to do what they want to do without being judged by the
Feng Ru is a Chinese man who made Aviation in possible in China. He was inspired by Wilbur and Orville Wright “while Feng Ru is little known in the U.S his fame in China was equal to The Wright Brothers” (Maskel). He wanted China to have aviation because China and the U.S had unfair rights. Then he established an aircraft factory in California and built “airplanes of his own design”. Feng Ru didn’t just achieve flying airplanes but he also did tricks like aerials. On August 26, Feng Ru was killed from performing an aerial stunt but with his last dying breath he said to his assistants “may my death not stop your progress” (Feng Ru) so now to this day he is known as “The Father of the Chinese Aviation”.

In Conclusion, Jackie Robinson, Melba Beals, and Feng Ru had to face frightening challenges. Jackie Robison had to live with snubs and rejections, Melba Beals had to walk past people who raised their fists and shouted ugly words, and Feng Ru faced death itself! They did very different things to help their countries but in the end they are not very different people after all.
