The Human Rights Act was mainly put into place to ensure equality for adults and also to support them with bringing up their children. This legislation ensures that each individual has exactly the same rights as everyone else in society. Some of these rights are:…
The Human Rights Act applies to everyone within the country as it makes sure everyone is treated the same but it could be in different ways. This act allows students to have freedom of thought and religion. People are allowed to have and voice their own opinions but they have to take into consideration not everyone believes the same and they may disagree with their opinion. It helps people to become their own individual and to express themselves in a healthy way. This act also allows everyone to have the right to further and higher education within their own county.…
Human rights are fundamentally important in protecting individuals and maintaining a fair and civilized society. Before 2000, cases were dealt with at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. The basic human rights are all taken from the European Convention on Human Rights which was set up after World War 2 to prevent future atrocities occurring.…
In 2015 I made the difficult decision to leave my career as a paralegal working in family and defense criminal law and return to school. My profession as a paralegal was rewarding for years, however I desired to leave a larger influence on my family, my clients, my community, and in the world. The various hats I have worn throughout my life inspired the decision to return to school. As I explored my options, the field of social work checked all the boxes that I knew would assist me in my overarching goals to produce a positive impact.…
As for question four, let them know that I graduated from ASU with a 3.95 GPA and that I am very passionate in pursuing a job in social work emphasizing my interest in criminal justice. Tell them that one of my fondest memories from college was taking a field trip to a medium level security prison and that this was when I knew I wanted to pursue a career criminal justice. Let them know that I want to help people and that I especially want to prevent children from taking the wrong path in life. That is the gist of what you need to say. Feel free to improvise, just highlight my love for kids and helping people. Thanks so…

Where do I see myself professionally? I see myself professionally in a field to become a physical therapy. I say this because I have a big heart and I enjoy trying to make people's lives easier and try to make people achieve their goals Also I enjoy taking care of people for example I take care of my mother a lot because she is a paraplegic and I am usually the one that gets her medicine for her and takes her to her doctor's appointment also I also take care of her alot when she is sick and I try to make her go outside with me a lot and walk around the neighborhood while she is in her wheelchair so she gets air and does not become sad and depressed because I know a lot of people that become paralyzed or ill do become depressed if they do not go out alot because they are either unable to or do not have people to take them out.I also do exercises with my mother so she stays healthy and makes sure that she eats healthy too.In order to achieve this goal to become a physical therapist I will have to do multiple things. For example I must have earned graduate degrees from accredited academic programs in physical therapy.…
What exactly is Human Services? Human services is defined as “uniquely approaching the objective of meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base, focusing on prevention as well as remediation of problems.”(National Organization of Human Services [NOHS], n.d) Ever since I was in my sophomore year of high school I knew that after college I wanted to work with human services in some sort of way. But being a naive sophomore, I knew nothing about the careers and the information that I did know was from the TV and the electives I took that briefly touched on this subject. So going into college and seeing that they had courses specially for students that were interested in Human Services, I knew taking this class would only further…
I’m interested in this career field because I enjoy to help people. All of what I saw on TV would be nurses helping other people and checking up on them to make sure that they were okay. They also made sure that the client was comfortable and if they needed something the nurse would be right there with them to make sure that they were fine. I wouldn’t say that I got motivated by anyone but simply the gesture of being able to be there for someone else in need is a reason why. Many nurse practitioner’s do a lot of different things such as handing the medication to the patient, checking their vital state, making sure that they have what they need. A nurse practitioner needs writing skills such as being able to write and type certain things that deal with the patient. I felt that this career could help me in the long run because after all you want something you love to do, not something that you’re miserable doing.…
I am Elizabeth Yanes and I am writing to apply for the recently advertised front desk concierge position. I go to Southern CT State University with a major in Social Work. I have read from the Bio online that you have also received your Bachelors for Social Work at the same University. I commute from home and saw this as a great opportunity to gain some knowledge on the Social Work field.…
I have wanted to be an anesthesiologist since I was in eighth grade. I did a lot of research on it and came to an agreement with myself that I will indeed become an Anesthesiologist, work in a hospital, and wear a white coat with my name and an M.D at the end of my name. I love everything about anesthesiology, I get so excited just thinking about it. The thing I would enjoy the most about this job would be the ability to make anesthetics that would ease an individual’s pain during surgery and during the recovery period. The thing I find the least appealing would be the irregular hours of an Anesthesiologist. Anytime during the day or night, I could get called into a surgery to monitor a patient’s heartbeat, blood pressure, etc. If I do become…

My career goal is working with young kids that are already caught in the criminal justice. I want to work with these specific young teens because I believe there need to be better ways do deal with juveniles in our current criminal justice System. I am also interested in working with young kids that are in higher risks because I believe early preventions its important and if it happen as soon as these kids started showing signs of disobedience there is a greater chance of keeping them out of trouble. Also, this means that parents involvement as well in this process can help their kids staying away from criminal activities. By taking criminal justice courses, I learned that a great amount of teens once they entered the criminal justice they…
My education will benefit the community with any decision I'll make as a part of my career goals. Currently, I am undecided with my college major. I am interested in Secondary Education in the mathematics field, Paramedic Programs, and getting my Emergency Medical Technician basics. I am extremely passionate when it comes to helping others. I have had experiences with all these professions, including being a math tutor for my peers after school, and have participated in the Clark County Fire Department Explorer Program, a paramilitary organization, where I have had an amazing experience training with actual firefighters.…
