I Want To Become A Nurse Practitioner
I’m currently working as an RN with the school district and I truly enjoying my work as a school nurse as it had opened my eyes to such diversity and children from different cultures and languages. It’s a very satisfying experience, however I do feel that I have so much more I can offer and there are endless knowledges that I want to gain to better myself in the future. This is the reason why I want to be enroll in the University of Washington’s DNP program. The GNM status will help pave my way to one day becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
The driving force is to gain depth and knowledge to develop into a well-rounded medical professional. It will help not only better myself, but for the betterment of the community I serve. Moreover, if the
opportunity ever occurs I will like to be able to use this knowledge to increase the scope of my career by possibly working in developing nations to help the one that truly in need. As I work toward my goal, I also would like to see myself participating in variety of research projects on the differences of Eastern and Western medicines.
It had been a long journey for me to be where I am now, and I am determined to not stop until I achieve my ultimate goal. I strongly believe this status will help me get there.
