ISIS Combating Methods
U.S Combating Method for fighting ISIS

Despite US efforts ISIS has learned to coexist within the US instead of perishing. The Islamic State was first started after the death of Zarqawi. Zarqawi was the man who formed Al-Qaeda which later created another organization called The Islamic State (ISIS). The Islamic State is known as a very violent organization. The reason being is because their actions within the organization is ruthless, they are willing to do anything to get their point across. With that being said the US has made it their initiative to stop the organization from causing havoc. The US has their own methods that are used to protect the well being of others from the wrath of the Islamic State (ISIS).Although opponents claim the US current method for combating ISIS is very effective, their methods are actually ineffective because Airstrikes can’t stop the spread of the Islamic State,Ground war would be too long and costly and ISIS is still able to get funded from within the US.

This article was published in Scientific America in the year 2014. The article is intended for those who seek an interest in the military and ISIS. Evidence that supports this is when Zittrain wrote, “ISIS staged a parade with its new weapons and deployed them… The U.S. began conducting air strikes and rearming the Kurds to even the score against its own weaponry.” (926) Using this in the beginning of his article helps the readers gain a better understanding of what the article will be about, making it easier to be…

When analyzing the world's current situation concerning terrorism, it is difficult to say whether the global war on terrorism has been a successful one. Since the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Centers in New York City, George Bush, former president of the United States, vowed to defeat terrorism. Moreover, to entirely grasp the subject, one must be familiar with the definition of terrorism and it can be defined as an act of violence or threatened violence intended to spread panic in a society, and to bring about political change. Terrorists do not necessarily live in their native states, majority migrate to neighboring countries, and countries and often go undetected. The logistics and man power it takes to combat terrorism is immense, and it seems more evident that the global war on terrorism is not succeeding due to essentially three factors. First, that The United States has created a terrorist haven in the Middle East. Second, international support for the global war on terrorism is decreasing. Third, terrorism has been on the constant increase since 911. Sept 11, 2001 changed the world forever because the attack on the two most powerful economic symbols which was the Twin Towers World Trade Center and the Pentagon.…

‘’ISIS has massacred religious minorities, including Christians and Yazidis, and American air strikes can prevent more wanton killing, the President has said. A second imperative is the defense of the Kurdistan Regional Government, a semi-autonomous, oil-endowed American ally in northern Iraq, which a few weeks ago was teetering under pressure from ISIS but has since recovered, with the aid of American air power. The third, and most resonant, reason that the President has given is self-defense: to disrupt ISIS before it tries to attack Americans in the region or inside the United States.’’ (THE NEW YORKER)…

Is ISIS Really a Threat to the United States? ISIS is a newly formed group that operates in the Eastern part of the world. The goal of this group is to create an Islamic state across Sunni areas of Iraq and in Syria. Currently, they control hundreds of square miles all over Iraq and Syria; this number is growing greater everyday. I believe that ISIS presents very little threat to the United States as a whole. The goal of this paper is to establish if the U.S is indeed, threatened by this terrorist group known as ISIS.…

ISIS is a terror group and they have been credited for over half of all of the terrorist attacks that have been taking place. I think that we should go to war with them because if someone doesn't stop them then they won't stop. They are going to try to start their beliefs over here they want America to be theirs. They said in a news conference with a guy from America that they will see us in New York. If that doesn't make you want to go fight them i don't know what else would. I f we take take action quick they will be over here trying to force their way in here so that they can destroy everything. I'm not all that smart with war but i know that it will cost a lot of money and many deaths but if we don't do something about it now then it will end up costing way more money and a tion of more deaths than it ever would have if we would just go to war now! This is just a little bit of information that i have found explaining both sides of the story and i hope that you will choose a side and hopefully let's engage in…
