Ian Malcolm's Death In 'Jurassic Park: The Lost World'
There are a lot of deaths in “Jurassic Park,” but the one that was most weird and out of the ordinary; is Ian Malcolm's death. There are a lot of reasons that are out there, but I'm going to pick the main ones that stick out there for me. First one I really strongly believe this is he going to be in second book which is “Jurassic Park: The Lost World”. Which I haven't read it; yet. The second one is that maybe he just had it coming to him. He probably just couldn’t survive his injury. 3rd thing is maybe Crichton he thought maybe just add another death to the book other than there already is. Fourth reason why think they had him killed is because of karma. The final reason is just for the cost of the Chaos theory he had in mind that he kept …show more content…
Maybe Crichton wanted his death for next the next book. It could be for just the saying the Chaos effect. The chaos just had to happen to Malcolm because it will show that he was right about the chaos effect. Another reason why i think that he died by Crichton is because of he wanted to show how bad the island really is. That is the third reason why i think that Malcolm died in Jurassic park.
The Fourth Reason is because of Karma. The reason is because he kept saying that there's something going to happen and the chaos theory. The chaos theory is where that studies the dynamical that is highly sensitive to initial conditions also known as the butterfly effect. Then he could also be the reason of the situation is because he jinxed the situation. It’s really ironic how he just died because he said that at the wrong time. This is the final reason I got.
To end this Last essay, These are the reasons I think he died. The first one I thought he was going to be in the second book. Second reason is because he just had it coming down on him. The third reason is Michael Crichton just wanted his death to be a big defect of the book. The final and the fourth reason is because he had karma coming to him and Because he kept saying the Chaos

It was sad to read that he died the way he did while he was in the middle of having fun with his best friend, Rat Kiley. Rat had to see his best friend blown up by a booby trap right in front of him. Tim O’Brien states they had to “shinny up and peel him off” (295). That would have been really hard for Rat to peel his best friend off from a tree. The whole situation is sad because no one wants to see a close friend of theirs die like that but I was not shocked by it. Many people in the war develop close friends and at some point have had to see them die right in front of their eyes. It is tragic thing, but it is something that comes with entering a…

Another death was near the end of the novel and “[Murray’s] uncle’s breathing became thinner and drier until eventually it stopped.” So the uncle lived a whole life, until eventually his time comes and he dies, and that's just a part of life that we all have to deal with, like the soldiers who died in war. Murray and his family lived on a farm so it was a common thing to die on a farm. So when there was a fire once “they found [Mr Barrett] by the stables.” He died in the fire trying to save the horses for the farm, because when you have a farm there is more to think about than just yourself and your family. So Palmer shows through the book the value of death, and how we all have to deal with it, no matter how unexpected or expected the death is.…

Based on the readings, web notes, and class discussions, Jurassic Park was doomed to fail from the start. Malcolm warned that Jurassic Park was a useless expenditure based on the research he had done with his Chaos Theory. He cautioned from the start that the animals would end up acting unpredictably and the island would be a disaster. The five major design flaws of Jurassic Park are- they had limited knowledge about the dinosaurs and the environment they needed to live in, they assumed that the dinosaurs would be similar to passive zoo animals, they assumed the dinosaurs would not be able to get out of their cages and/or off of the island, they did not understand that the dinosaurs were intelligent and hunted in packs and had the capacity to kill humans, and Hammond did not want to waste resources on staff so he had the whole island almost entirely controlled by a computer program.…

Malcolm X travels down a long road, as revealed in The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley. Malcolm’s lifelong adventure through racial discrimination taught Malcolm some very important messages. Toward the end of his life, he wrote to friends: “I’ve had enough of someone else’s propaganda. I’m for truth, no matter who tells it. I’m for justice, no matter who it is for or against. I’m a human being first and foremost, and as such I’m for whoever and whatever benefits humanity as a whole” (Malcolm X, 373). Malcolm’s outlook on life revealed in this quote is much different than how he felt at the start of his journey. Malcolm’s experience taught him never to give up, to be true to himself, and never to judge people as a whole. These…
