Even though the first game was more of a fun game, I would still consider using it in the future. Long Story Short allowed us to have a little fun, make jokes, and talk to each other. That is always important when meeting new people, to remember to have a little fun. The Ungame was a more a serious game that required a little more attention. It wasn’t as fun but it got us all thinking of the questions we don’t always ask ourselves, for instance, “What is your purpose in life”. Most people don’t come across that question until much later in their lives. With The Ungame, we can tap into some of those questions and get ourselves thinking about situations, and more serious aspects of life that you don’t always talk about with a stranger. Both of these games allowed us to go outside of our comfort zone in one way or another, which is ultimately what you do when you meet new people. So, by default these games put us in the position we needed to be to talk to each other, and reach out. Both of these games would be very interesting to play at the beginning of the year, and then again at the end of the year.
