EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Organizational leadership is a blending of the art and the science in order to give a company direction. There is no single doctrine outlining the rules and beliefs of this business tool, but there are several similarities no matter what the company or goal. Learning organizational leadership doesn't require a college degree and can be applied in a variety of diverse careers.

1. Leadership is to influence a group toward the achievement of goals. Types of Leaders are charismatic, transformational and transactional. The Core Competencies of Leadership are Creating and conceptualizing 2. Analysing and interpreting 3. Leading and deciding 4. Interacting and presenting 5. Adapting and coping 6. Supporting and cooperating 7. Enterprising and performing 8. Organizing and executing The identification of leadership gaps is an assessment of both the individuals and the readiness of the organization. Identifying and then promoting leadership in an organization    Identify cross-organizational learning topics and engage community leaders from across the Sector to share effective practices Create resources that identify and support effective practices Explore technology-based delivery mechanisms to reach a larger spectrum of leader

Leadership is a complex function in an organization but essential for success.
