EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Chapter 1
Introduction

A computer was just once used to perform mathematical calculations, but because of constant modification through studies and researches, this powerful machine became one of the most significant tools that cater to different needs for different types of people around the world.

1.1 Project Context

The current problem of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Office of the Ateneo de Naga University is that they still adapt the manual way of enrolling their students and/or clients which results to the unorganized recording of their data. In addition to this, they have difficulty in tracking down the personal records of those with special cases, such as students/clients with back accounts that need to be settled in order for them to once again avail the services of the said office. Such problems are one of the things this project aims and attempts to solve.

1.2 Purpose and Description

The main purpose of this work is to provide assistance for the member of the IELTS Office in terms of their enrollment procedures. This project aims to keep things in order by giving them the means to properly organize their students’ records accurately along with a precise generation of reports.
