Being involved in the arts makes people feel better. To what extent do you agree or disagree:
A lot of people are now discussing about being involved in the arts. Some people thinks the arts can make people happy, and it can reduce pressure. However, some people think it will be a waste of time. It is really hard to decide which opinion is more powerful. In my opinion ,it depends on people and what kind of form of art.
A lot of people consider art as a way to expand their horizons. They think the art can open their mind because the art involves all cultures though out the world. It is also a type of entertainment, some people think it is a good way to spend time. It is also makes you money healthy and strong if you do some dancing such as ballet. Some films can help us gain a better understanding of what they have done to the world before, it can help them to find out what they should do better to change the world such as do more recycling.
Although it has a lot of advantages, it also brings disadvantages. In other words, people might be consider as a waste of time. Some drama might have a sad ending, this might affect your emotions in a negative way. The price of art might also bring disadvantages. If the price is too expensive, people might not be able to afford it, some people might even think the arts is distracting if they are involved too much such as too many galley.
Overall, I believe there is no real answer for this, it is depends on the person and the type of arts. For example, some people might find a drama’s ending remarkable while some people find it boring. Personally, I think art doesn’t make me feel happy because I am not really attract by arts.

The arts became a necessity only after physiological, safety, social and self esteem needs had been fulfilled by an individual. It is said that “the arts are a way of expressing emotion”. Thus, it is separated from science, in which everything is objective and emotion free. It is said that the arts deal in the individual and the personal. This is true to a certain extent. Artists (musicians, painters, photographers) express their own emotions through their work. The audience/spectators interpret the meaning of the art form in their own particular way. The idea that each person everyone should have their say, that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, does not cause anyone to question everyone else’s views, when it comes to art. Therefore everyone believes in his/her version of the “truth”. This can be seen in Leonardo da Vinci’s painting, the “Mona Lisa”. No one can tell why the background of the painting slants from her right, or why Leonardo painted it(x ray scans confirm this) over the features of a man (it hasn’t been verified if the man is Leonardo himself). Many people have different theories, but at the end of the day, they will all be right because Leonardo never left anything which could explain his true intentions. This theory would be limited, however, if he was alive and/or left something behind which would explain the curious nature of the painting.…

Art is a very important tool for children in building many skills they will need to be successful and reach certain developmental milestones as they grow and mature. Thinking back, I remember the first time I took an art class. Of course, at the time I did not realize the important skills I was building while exploring my creative side. I was learning how to develop my own ideas, as well as my dexterity. Art was always fun for me, and I realize as an adult now just what an impact it placed…
