if your teacher says something incorrect in a class, what will you do?
If your teacher says something incorrect in a class, what will you do?
1) Interrupt your teacher right away
2) Keep silent
3) Correct your teacher after the class

We are not unfamiliar with sometimes our teacher could make subtle mistakes when teaching in the class. And there is no denying that even the sage could make the mistake, and so teacher could. Therefore, in my opinion, correcting my teacher after the class is the best choice among others.

Firstly, correcting teachers after the class can show the sense of respect to the teacher. That is, if we interrupt teacher right away, he or she may feel insulted and be unwilling to teach in that class. Take myself for example. Our profound geology professor made the trivial mistakes regarding the basis concept of stratum. One of my classmates directly modify the concept and interrupt professor in the class. Then, our geology professor felt insulted and thought that we did notwould not respect his profession. Owing to that incident, the geology professor was unwilling to edify us and we could not learn numerous knowledge from him. Thus, I strongly think that if professors make some mistakes in the class, correcting professors after the class is the decent method.

Secondly, keeping silent could affect the teacher’s syllabus. In other words, sometimes teachers are intentionally making the errors in order to inspire students in their class. Moreover, through this way, it can that teachers recognize how well can students really understand in the class. When I was teaching children English, sometimes I intentionally make some basic errors to test the children whether or not he or she understands this topic in the class. Besides, through this teaching method, it can readily reflect that how well could they actually understand and I can review the concepts based on their response. Therefore, keeping silent is not a decent way when teachers make the mistakes. Accordingly, if students have any questions, they can ask questions or correct them after the class.

Admittedly, some students may think that interrupt the teachers directly is not a big deal. Besides, if they correcting the teacher after the class, students may forget which questions they want to ask and some teachers are too busy to chase other classes in other places. However, both of these methods are not decent. Firstly, students can write down the questions which they were confusing in the class on the note so that they will not forget the questions. Besides, all of the teachers have office hour, they can ask some questions to their teachers. All in all, correcting the teachers after the class not only do not offend the teachers but also let teachers know students’ understanding.

The students are in the classroom to learn. The teacher is more than willing to provide further explanation on the subject if the need arises. So, why do the students hesitate to ask? No hands are raised, and no questions are asked, until a brave soul decides to take a risk—to show that he doesn’t understand. Students interpret the lack of questions from their peers as a sign that everyone understands the assignment or the concept, so they avoid publically displaying the fact that they don’t understand something that seems to be quite clear to the rest of the group. They don’t want to show themselves as being less intelligent: the dunce of the class. The students are afraid of how the others might see them, thus they hold back what they really think or feel about a subject/concept/assignment.…

We should respect our teachers because if we don’t respect people that are more complex and more experienced than us it will reflect on us earlier down in our lives. Although sometimes our teachers may make a fool of us and humiliate us and sometimes embarrass us in the cruelest ways we should not retaliate in a bad way. If we know all the rules in the school we should report it to the principal or someone that is a part of the school and is able to tell the teacher that he/she is doing something very, very, very, very, very wrong. Instead we should always ask the teacher if you can please leave the room to go to my locker. I should have just waited until you called my…
