There are many different reasons someone would want to move to another country. It is maybe because they were not safe in their own country, they have found a better job,they have family there ,they disliked their own country or they just wanted to start a new life.These people have different names such as immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers and people seem to get them mixed up quite often, this can cause arguments and upset.

Immigrants are people who leave one country to live in another. They chose to do this as they believe it will give them or their families a better life.Legal immigrants have to go through a lot of paperwork to move to another country but illegal immigrants do not follow that rule.Illegal immigrants violate their countries laws put in place to keep them safe and move to another country illegaly. Illegal immigrants sometimes have to leave their country to be safe because they are not allowed to seek refuge or asylum.
