they will get their next meal, if they can find a job to support their family, and even protecting their lives. The article states, ¨Men, women, and children living in horrific conditions understandably risk their lives to migrate¨ (YaleGlobal Online). With so many illegal immigrants all over the world, the United States containing at least 12 million, the topic of deportation could be disruptive to funds of the countries doing the deportation. The immigrants would be taken out of their job, which ultimately does nothing for the economy. Illegal immigration has become a touchy and difficult topic to discuss.
Millions of people from countries such as El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico are fighting to find ways to reach the United States. They come to the U.S. for a few things, but the one thing that they desire most is a better life for themselves and their families. Having the ability to get out of their home country where they are surrounded by poverty, crime, and famine is like the light at the end of the tunnel for suffering families. In countries with high poverty rates that usually means the employment rates are down as well. The United States economy benefits from the services that immigrants bring into the country

Young children are vulnerable and easily lost on their own. Parents in foreign countries are sending their young children to the United States to have a chance at survival. The parents don’t want their children to grow up around violence and poverty. If the government were take them and put them back in their native country, this would completely go against what the U.S. was built on and who it was built by, immigrants (YaleGlobal Online). Giving the children as well as their families somewhere to go until they can get citizenship or until they can find work and a place to stay would be the most humane and effective course of action for the situation.
