Illiteracy in Pakistan
Bismillah e Rehman Raheem.
Asslam o Alaikum and a very good evening to all of you. Today we are celebrating Quaid Day, the day the Legend was born. Pakistan celebrates the birth of the father of nation on 25th December. Yes it is the day when every individual celebrates in every corner of the world where the Pakistani lives. It’s is officially celebrated as the name “Quaid Day”. Lets know about honorable Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah born on the 25th December, 1987. Quaid-e-azam was the great leader, a statesman, a successful lawyer and non other then the founder of Pakistan. Quaid-e-azam born in Karachi. His father name was Ponja Jinnah. Quaid-e- Azam was a bright child right from his childhood. He completed his early education from Karachi. Quaid-e- Azam flew to London for further studies of the law.
He was the biggest follower of Hindu Muslim unity but after seeing all the unjust acts of Hindus to Muslims he came to know that he was wrong and Muslims must have a separate homeland this is only because of his quest for the justice and equality. Quaid-e-azam made Pakistan after 7 years of very tough struggle. All the Muslims of sub continent are still and will be thankful to him for this act of miracle.
That’s why his birthday the 25th December is observed with respect and zeal. Many seminars and ceremonies are arranged on Quaid day for remembering, admiring and acknowledging him. We pray that may Allah give us opportunity of acting upon on his golden principles.

In different reports the Ministry of Education claimed that literacy in Pakistan is over 50%, but open sources disagree with it and they say that it is merely 35%. Ratio of budget indicates the level of importance given by a nation to the education. Historically, Pakistan has been spending less on education, as compared to other countries in the region. Pakistan spends less than 2% of its GDP on education which is less than Iran, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Maldives the neighboring countries of Pakistan, the world standard stands at 5% of the GDP. With such non serious attitude towards Education, there remains a dearth of well educated and skillful individuals. Among the SAARC Nations, Pakistan is at the sixth and at the 159th position among the 174 World countries.…
