In the book “Grapes of Wrath” we learn about a family that had lost everything, including their house and land, and was forced to live with an uncle. Soon, they
decided to undertake the journey in search of prosperity. One of the members of the family had been caught up in problems with the law, to the point of having been in prison. Then the grandfather of the family dies because he could not bear his life away from his own land.
