Immigration Officer Job Analysis
I am pleased to submit my application for the Immigration Officer position which was advertised on the Government of Saskatchewan website. As an individual who was nominated by the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), I have in-depth knowledge of federal and provincial immigration programs and application acts. It is my direct familiarity, more than four (4) years in customer service roles, cumulated with a Master’s in Sociology which has precipitated my passion to join this team in its continued efforts to attract and retain skilled immigrants to help meet the labour market needs and economic development goals of the Saskatchewan province.
I am optimistic the diversity in my trainings, as highlighted in my attached resume, coupled with my respective experiences as Business Development Executive and Customer Service Officer at North-South Oil & Investment and Walmart Canada Corp are tangible client-focused skills that will prove valuable in serving a variety of clients via phone and through written correspondences. As a Research Assistant in the Safety Engagement of Saskatchewan Employees in the Mining Industry project (SESEMI), I actively engaged in critical analysis and summary of research papers and documents to provide tangible recommendations that contributes to the improvement of regional workplace safety.
