Dear Governor Brown,
My name is Ismael Arriaga and I reside in Concord Ca. As your constituent, I commend you on dedicating your time and effort to reform our broken immigration system. I encourage you to support immigration policies that keep families together. Since the passage of 1996 immigration laws, more than 1.5 million immigrants have been deported. 3. I urge you to readjust the number of employment visas based on market demand. Potential immigrants deserve a fair chance to contribute to our country’s economy. Communities around the nation have taken a stand, hosted events, educated the American population at large, and shared stories of immigrants and Dreamers. As Congress considers how to overhaul our nation’s immigration laws this upcoming year, I hope that you will keep these views in mind. This issue is extremely important to me and to our nation’s future. Please support common sense immigration reform and finally fix this broken system.
Thank you for your time and efforts to protect and serve California! And once again I urge you to draft a bill that ensures that America’s tenet of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” live on
