Imperialism Causes Of World War 1
Imperialism was one of the main causes of World War 1. Imperialism is when stronger well developed nations try to take over weak or less developed countries.The three main European countries involved in Imperialism were Germany, Britain and France. The countries involved in imperialism where called the “mother country”(J. Llewellyn et. Al, 2014), by taking control over of colonies by persuasion or threats of military forces. Military forces are used in the colonies being imperialized to retain control and to stop any revolts. European countries wanted to enforce imperialism in less developed countries to gain imperial power, and use its natural resources colonies provided cheap raw materials, and cheap labor they had people work long
