Importance Of Cultural Competence
Cultural Competence in my understanding involves a range people from a variety of backgrounds and communities.
Cultural Competence involves attitudes, policies and behaviour that is formed together through professionals or a system to work in effectiveness with matters involving cross cultural situations.
Educators need to debrief and consider ways in which they communicate with children, staff, families and members of the community so that they form relationships that eliminate stereotypes and merge to form meaningful exchanges for better communication.
Cultural Competence includes respect for diversity and a focus on equity and social justice. In my understanding, my local council is a culturally diverse council, with one third of residence

    Cultural diversity is having a group made up of people from various ethnicities, backgrounds, religions, etc. Having an appreciation of diversity is extremely important and essential for effective communication.
