English Is Important In Both Our Personal And Professional Lives
“ ENGLISH IS IMPORTANT IN BOTH OUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIVES”

Modern English, sometimes described as the first global lingua franca, is the dominant language or in some instances even the required international language of communications, science, information technology, business, aviation, entertainment, radio and diplomacy. Its spread beyond the British Isle began with the growth of the British Empire, and by the late 19th century its reach was truly global. A working knowledge of English has become a requirement in a number of fields, occupations and profession such as medicine and computing as a consequence over a billion people speak English to at least a basic level. It is one of six official languages of the United Nations. English had been established in Malaysia since the colonial era and affecting our personal lives and careers until today.
Communication with others, when meeting with friends who can’t speak in the native language the English language will be used. Skills in English language also allows us to have high self-esteem, enhance the image and provide encouragement to develop themselves further in English when you are among friends who speak in this language. While traveling abroad for leisure allows us to communicate with others for example if we are to European countries. Most of the European people speaking in English. If we are not fluent in English how to communicate with them. Language skills in English also allow us to influence others and open their minds to the country and our culture.
Everybody loves their hobbys for example cooking, fishing, camping, reading or collecting. Hobby requires a knowledge of English for example reading books or a good reference materials comes from overseas authors. All the books written in English, it is impossible for those who do not know English to read books. Some people loves collecting stamps, magazines, old books, brosure
