Importance of English in Nursing Profession.
In general, the most popular language is English. In this computer age, English is the only language that anyone can understand. It is clear that the English language has become more dominant around the world. There is no doubt that, the English is language of communication between the people with different cultures.
Considering the importance of English, It is a proper language that is easily understandable and it is absolutely necessary for all those reports and patient care forms one would be filling out. If a disease process is well defined, it is much easier to begin an effective therapy.
In nursing profession, improving ones English language is very essential in enhancing ones communication skills. Communication serves as the ultimate heart and soul of every human experience. An effective form of communicating with people is a combination of developing your speaking, writing and listening skills.
Improving once grammatical skills in speaking and writing in the English language is an advantage when one is going to apply for a job in other countries. One must keep into consideration that a lot of international employees easily get hired from renowned hospitals and health care systems worldwide because of their highly improved grammar in speaking and writing English.

On contrary, a group of people denies with the fact that English is only important in business related fields and not in any scientific fields. But I disagree with their point of view and I would like to add here that if a nurse is working within an English speaking country, he/she must have a command of the English language. They must be able to communicate with coworkers, staff, patients, and family members. And last but not the least foreign nurses who gain a thorough and flexible mastery of English are more likely to win good positions and be promoted than those who don't.
