Introduction
Why do people work or need to work or have a job? Since Paleolithic Era, when caveman was prevalent, they had to work in their society where hunting and gathering were important to their existence. Their main purpose for working was for survival, which they lived of the land for sustenance. Surviving was the name of their game. At the present time, we are the caveman and cavewomen of 21st century. Similarly, survival is still the name of the game as it were millions of years ago. The type of work that we perform supports our very survival by putting food on the table, clothing us, and providing for other needs and wants that we individually seek for ourselves or our family. Simplifying it, it is to meet our economic necessities and in turn we contribute to economic development. It is a never ending cycle for as long as humans continue to live on the planet.
Nowadays jobs are paramount to our survival. As population keeps increasing every year, more jobs will be needed to catch up with the trend each year.
According to worldodometer.info, there are seven billion people who live on the planet earth.1 Aside from people who are already living off the land for sustenance, millions of people will be looking for work or jobs in order to survive, in many cities, all over the world.
