Importance Of Ratifying The Constitution
The Constitution is extremely important to us. The United States needed a constitution because it had just broken off from the British needed to create a system of laws with checks and balances. The U.S. also needed unification. Ratifying the constitution was a good idea for America because without it we don’t know where we would be today. One reason to ratify the constitution was to create a fair distribution of power in the government. The people didn’t want a king. Fair branches of government were the best option for America. These branches are the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches.
