Tourism is a collection of activities, services and industries that delivers a travel experience, including transportation, accommodations, eating and drinking establishments, retail shops, entertainment businesses, activity facilities and other hospitality services provided for individuals or groups traveling away from home. The World Tourism Organization (WTO) claims that tourism is currently the worlds largest industry with annual revenues of over $3 trillion dollars. The sum of the phenomena and relationships arising from the interaction of tourists, business suppliers, host governments and host communities in the process of attracting and hosting these tourists and other visitors.
Nepal is a small but very beautiful country. Tourism can be very important industry for our country. It has the highest mountain, Mt.Everest, the ever flowing Himalayan rivers, glaciers, large lakes, green valleys, and lovely water falls, the national parks in the Terai and Himalayan range are all the attractions for tourists. Lumbini, the birth place of Gautam Buddha, can be next attraction.
These all natural resources will be very important for our tourist industry. The tourists of different kinds will come to Nepal. Some will comes to see the natural resources, some to study its historical and religious places.
It needs a lot of money to set up other industries. But our natural beauty can be our capital for tourism. We can get many direct and indirect advantages from tourism. First of all, we can start hotels. We can sell our goods. Even farmers can get chance to sell their agricultural products.
However, some tourists may have criminal nature and commit crime any time. They may affect our traditional culture. For these all, the security system should be strict and we should be much careful.
It is important because it create many opportunity to our people who live in urban places where there are no good road or no road.If
