For example, children who are given work suitable to their ability will achieve, this achievement will then give them a boost in their self-esteem. Children who do not feel success or achievement can experience of low self-esteem and can make harsh judgement of themselves. This can affect their emotional and physiological state. Children Acts 1989 is a piece of legislation that is linked to some of UNCRC articles. These Acts is apply to all children in England and Wales and for the purpose to ensure children’s welfare and needs can be met such as safe from harm, respect their needs. The children Acts 2004, is giving guidelines to everyone who work related to children to know how to deal with different issues.
These principles, values, article and standards are not just for the purpose to promote children’s right, to ensure good practice and to ensure every child and young person having good care. The articles and standards can also provide different standard and supports that is linked to children and young person’s life changes and transitions. There are several standards that I am going to discuss and focus are which are: respecting culture or customs, background and values of the families; to put the child at the centre of practice; supporting individual need by working confidentially with outside agencies and enabling child to achieve their full potential. As I stated earlier, transition of moving country can be difficult. This is why plenty of support should be provided to help children
