View here: http://prezi.com/phtiriylg7dd/the-happy-project/?kw=view-phtiriylg7dd&rc=ref-29695099 I have revised my approach to this project as I got further into it. I have decided to go with a couple of approaches in my mission to bring happiness to the workplace. My initial idea of having a poster-sized sign in the entrance to the duty area is still how I want to start this campaign for happiness. I designed this graphic myself. It somewhat mimics the “got milk?” campaign a few years ago. If I had to credit anything for this one, it would be that campaign. I chose this graphic because it is plain, simple, and generates a thought in each person to question themselves on what attitude they are walking in with. I want to get each person actively thinking as soon as they step in the door. My second and main approach to this campaign is to start off with a meeting with all managers and supervisors. I will present the main reason and goal behind this campaign to bring happiness to our workers along with our own selves. I will be using the website www.prezi.com. It is a very interactive visually stimulating presentation website. In turn I will remake the presentation to be used as a visual during an annual training that I will hold with all employees during their anniversary month.
In this presentation I explain how brining happiness to the forefront of goals in the workplace can actually increase productivity and in turn increase overall customer satisfaction and profits. I begin by defining happiness and what it generally involves to genuinely and deeply feel happy. It is more than just a split moment in time. It is a lifestyle and environment that we mainly control. Many of us have chosen paths in which we are chasing the wrong goals thinking that it will lead us to happiness. That road is a very steep grade
